Below, the ransom note also gives you two email addresses you are supposed to use to contact these criminals. However, please note that there is no guarantee the people behind this infection would issue the decryption key in the first place. The fact that there are two email addresses means that the server connection for this infection isn’t stable, and it can go offline any time. Therefore, paying the ransom is never an option, and you should ignore the ransom note altogether.

Instead, focus on removing PXJ Ransomware from your computer. This infection doesn’t drop additional files, so you just need to delete the file that launched the infection. If you cannot find the file yourself, make sure you employ a powerful security application that will locate all the malicious files for you and remove them automatically.

As for your files, you might have to start building your file library anew if you have no backup. But if you have copies of your files saved in an external hard drive, a cloud drive, on your mobile device, or in your email inbox, there shouldn’t be much of a problem to retrieve them. Just don’t forget to remove the encrypted files and the infection itself before you transfer the healthy data back to your computer.

How to Remove PXJ Ransomware

1. Delete suspicious files from Desktop.
2. Go to the Downloads folder.
3. Remove the most recent files.
4. Press Win+R and type %TEMP%. Click OK.
5. Delete the most recent files from the directory.
