Antivirus Software alert

There are unfortunately many seemingly legitimate fake warning messages and alerts used as part of rogue security tools’ attacks on PCs. Some of these fake alerts, like Antivirus software alert, is hard to differentiate between genuine and fake warnings. Antivir Solution Pro and Antivir Solution Platinum are two well know rogue security tools which use the Antivirus software alert as a part of their attack on their victims’ systems. This only forms part of their attack, as the rogues will use a host of other tactics in their attack.

These include taking control of its victim’s PC, blocking his Internet access and not allowing the user to launch any type of application on the infected system. Antivir Solution Pro and Antivir Solution Platinum have also been known to cause severe system malfunction and poor system performance.
