The newest rogue application is quite rare, in that it is capable of altering its interface and name, depending on which Operating System it has infiltrated. For Windows Vista users, one will need to watch out for the rogue name: Vista Internet Security 2010 and it can also be referred to as: Win 7 Internet Security 2010.

Vista Internet Security 2010 is a mere tool with which its designers are conning and duping us into parting with our hard earned cash-money!

In other words, Vista Internet Security 2010 pretends to be a computer security solution but is in fact a counterfeit utility trying to get you to take money out of your wallet.

This application infiltrates and contaminates a computer system via infectious Trojan files that are programmed to generate fake pop-up messages. Vista Internet Security 2010 is also capable of redirecting the user’s browser, to malicious websites affiliated with this rogue.

Important to bear in mind with all these type programs is that by clicking on the pop-up messages the user inadvertently triggers an online system scanner that `detects` a variety of threats the infiltrated system is supposedly a victim of... this is all fictitious!

These fictitious security alerts will claim that the computer system is infected with malware and that these security risks need to be handled as soon as is possible.

The malware will even so go so far as to claim that the only way to rid your PC of the influx of viruses on the system will be to purchase its `commercial` software.

Vista Internet Security 2010 is thus marketed as a system protection utility. Do not trust this application, is a scam. Simply remove Vista Internet Security 2010 as soon as it has been detected.
