Trojan.Adialer.OPTrojan.Adialer.OP is a Trojan Dialer that connects to remote hosts without the computer user\'s consent. The Trojan consists of an installer, and an installed DLL. Trojan.Adialer.OP may connect to a remote website to download data. Also referred to as Trojan.Win32.Dialer.qn, this infection is further classified as a Porn Dialer. These type infections are programs that use the computer\'s modem to connect to an online pornographic service, without the user\'s knowledge and consent. Trojan.Adialer.OP may also proceed with dialling a toll number that adds long distance charges to the telephone bill. Porn Dialers tend to be downloaded onto a system via security exploits and installs without user consent or notice. Important to note that not all Porn Dialers are malicious, it may be legitimate if downloaded and installed with meaningful and informed user content. Trojan.Adialer.OP hides its functions within an Internet Explorer process, disguising it\'s connection with other sites. The only symptom may be the creation of a DLL into the Windows system folder. Once Trojan.Adialer.OP is installed it begins to download and install additional malware onto the infiltrated system, which may in turn cause serious issues and may render the infected computer useless. All financial and personal data is at serious risk of being stolen, should a computer system have Trojan.Adialer.OP present. Trojan.Adialer.OP allows for a remote attacker to gain access to all personal information, which is highly capable of resulting in identity theft.
