Virus.Polipos is a polymorphic virus which infects .exe and .scr files when they are executed on the compromised computer. Virus.Polipos is installed under deceptive pretences, whilst infiltrating the user’s PC without their approval or knowledge Virus.Polipos is dubious application which has hazardous functionality all in order to ensure a PC user’s entire network is compromised and possibly endangered.. Once Virus.Polipos has fully embedded itself within a system, is particularly damaging to a computer system, therefore it is given a high priority security risk status by many computer analysts. Virus.Polipos can easily enter any PC system via security holes and flaws, makes it that much easier for Virus.Polipos to enter the system and ensure the system’s security is drastically compromised. Furthermore, these security risks may also collect and transmit personally identifiable information (PII) without the user’s consent thus severely degrading the performance and stability of the computer. The best way to deal with the threat of Virus.Polipos is to simply remove it from the affected PC system.
