It brings with it a search engine/browser hijacker that is set as your browser’s new tab page, homepage, and search provider, essentially becoming the dominant search engine that provides all of the content that you see resulting from your searches. So this malicious app can show commercial advertisements in its search results which may appear legitimate at first but hide malicious downloads.
