BrowserMaintainaceBrowserMaintainace may trick you by making you believe that this application has anything to do with the maintenance of your browsers – whatever that may mean. What it can possibly maintain is the flow of useless and potentially unreliable third-party advertisements on your screen while you are surfing the web. Most people would consider these ads rather annoying; however, that is not why we suggest that you should remove BrowserMaintainace. Since this is an unreliable adware program, there is no warranty that the ads it displays are all legitimate and trustworthy. If you do not want to be exposed to unsafe web content or even cyber criminals, please continue reading to find out how you can protect your computer from the potential risks. If you perform a two-second web search on BrowserMaintainace, you will see right away that it “may not” be a reliable and useful application. As a matter of fact, most articles on the first search results page are about why you should remove BrowserMaintainace. Do you see now why it is so important to take a few seconds of your time to make sure that the software or tool your about to download and install is reliable? You can actually nip a possible infection in the bud. But if you do not know the name of this adware, you could never find info about it since it has no website that promotes it. It seems that it only spreads via freeware bundles. However, these software packages may hold undesirable “surprises” for you since they may contain other malware applications as well. This means that the presence of BrowserMaintainace may indicate that you have multiple threats attacking your operating system and exposing you to unreliable web content. Therefore, we advise you to delete BrowserMaintainace along with all other infections you can identify. Although we do not recommend that you go after each threat manually. You can use a reliable free online malware scanner to do the job for you. Well, at least the identification part. Removing these malware infections is another story. We have found that BrowserMaintainace is identical to another adware called BRApp. This adware has no graphical user interface (GUI), so you will not even see the application itself, only the result of its operation, i.e, the ads. It does not install browser extensions; instead, it uses a service through which it can showcase the advertisements. This adware can display ads at the bottom of your browser window as well as pop-up ads. The real problem is not that these ads may disrupt your online experience, but the fact that they may not always be reliable. If you click on an ad whose link leads to a questionable website, you might be exposed to schemers this way. Therefore, we suggest that you delete BrowserMaintainace as soon as possible. Finally, let us share some good news. You can easily eliminate this threat if you find its uninstaller in the installed programs list in Control Panel and run it. If you are not familiar with uninstalling applications, please use our guide below this article. If you do not want to be in these shoes again, you might want to think about using a trustworthy malware removal tool. If you keep your security software updated, your PC will enjoy full-time protection from all known malware infections; which would be a real peace of mind.
