SonicSearch

SonicSearch is an application that basically does not differ from such programs as Finance Alert, Celebrity Alert, LightsOff, and LightsOn. Like the aforementioned programs, SonicSearch promises to act in a very beneficial way. If you visit its official website, you will notice immediately that this program claims to be able to ease your web searching process. It is not surprising at all that users install this program on their systems. Unfortunately, the majority of them regret doing that. The first thing they notice after the installation of SonicSearch is a bunch of commercial advertisements on their screens. In addition, they find out that SonicSearch is not as useful as it claims to be. If you do not like this program and want to erase it, you will be able to do that easily after reading this article.

As SonicSearch is inseparable from commercial advertisements, our specialists categorize it as an advertising-supported application (adware). In most cases, adware programs promise to act beneficially and they pretend to be really decent; however, they show annoying advertisements. In most cases, users do not know that a program is going to show ads because adware applications usually do not inform people about that. Have you already started seeing commercials after the installation of SonicSearch? If so, you have to get rid of SonicSearch. Unfortunately, there is no other way to put an end to the appearance of ads. In the meanwhile, we suggest ignoring all those commercials because otherwise you might cause harm to your system really quickly. SonicSearch is not harmful itself, but you might be redirected to corrupted websites after clicking on any of its ads.

There is a possibility that other unwanted programs have been installed alongside SonicSearch. Actually, this adware does not even hide that it is going to offer you additional software: “during installation of SonicSearch, you may receive additional offers such as a search toolbar.” If users click on the Accept button, all the suggested applications are installed on the system. In order not to end up with suspicious software in the future, you should always read carefully all the information provided for you during the installation of a new program. It is very important to do that because you might be able to decline the installation of additional unwanted software. Of course, it is also advisable that you install a security application on your system.

SonicSearch itself can be easily removed via Control Panel; however, we are not sure whether you will be able to delete additional programs that have slithered onto your computer together with this adware via Control Panel. It might also be very difficult to detect them. Therefore, we highly recommend that you scan your PC with an automatic malware remover after you delete SonicSearch manually. Of course, you can get rid of this adware automatically, too. In this case, you will not need to delete other unwanted programs because a reliable tool (e.g. SpyHunter) will erase them all together with SonicSearch.
