Dezipper is presented as an application that will better help you zip and unzip files right from your browser. It is claimed that it can also compress files for easy storage, and it supports the most popular archiving formats. However, using the compression function will require you to download an additional application. Testing has not confirmed the application's reliability when it comes to its functionality, because we are mostly concerned with its malicious actions above everything else.

Upon infection, Dezipper automatically changes the search engine and homepage to a heavily modified version of Ask.com. The search engine shows unreliable results, because it favors certain pages over those that are more relevant in regards to the search phrase. For all we know, it might promote an infected website that could infect your computer with Trojans, rogue applications, and other dangerous malware that will be very difficult to remove. Besides, no one wants their browsing experience to be modified for someone’s monetary gain.
