DiscountExt

The devious DiscountExt might provide you with authentic looking discounts, but it is most likely that the offers promoted by this adware (advertisement-supported software) will be useless at best. It is possible that these offers will be used to scam you and trick you into downloading malware. Removing DiscountExt is complicated enough, and getting other unfamiliar and unwanted programs deleted only adds unnecessary pressure. This is the main reason you should NOT interact with DiscountExt ads.

Remove from Windows XP:

1. Navigate to the Taskbar, click Start, and select Control Panel.
2. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
3. Move to Change or Remove Programs and Remove the undesirable application.

Remove from Windows Vista or Windows 7:

1. Navigate to the Taskbar and click the Windows icon on the left.
2. Open the Control Panel menu and click Uninstall a program.
3. Right-click the application you wish to delete from your PC and select Uninstall.

Remove from Windows 8 or Windows 8.1:

1. Simultaneously tap Win+R to launch RUN and enter Control Panel.
2. Navigate to Programs/Programs and Features and click Uninstall a program.
3. Right-click and Uninstall the application you have chosen to delete.

Delete DiscountExt from browsers

Delete from Internet Explorer:

1. Launch the browser and open the Tools menu (Alt+T).
2. Select Manage Add-ons and click Toolbars and Extensions.
3. Disable the undesirable add-on and click Close.

Delete from Firefox:

1. Launch the browser and open the Add-ons Manager (Ctrl+Shift+A).
2. Select Extensions to find the list of active add-ons.
3. Remove the undesirable extension.

Delete from Chrome:

1. Launch the browser and open the Chrome menu (Alt+F).
2. Go to More tools (or tools) and click Extensions.
3. Identify the unwanted add-on, click the trash icon, and select Remove.
