RelaySys

RelaySys will enter your computer together with the Mutiplug adware applications. If you happen to have Smart Ones, OptiShopper, CheapNCheap, or any other similar application on your computer, then it is very likely that RelaySys is running on your system as well. To remove RelaySys for good, you need to uninstall the adware application responsible for it. If you fail to delete RelaySys from the system, it is very likely that the application will restore adware programs that rely on it for their full functionality. Therefore, you need to be very thorough when you remove all the potential threats from the PC.

Users often do not even notice that they have RelaySys on their computers because this application is an adware helper that simply improves adware applications’ functionality. There are all types of adware helpers out there. Some help adware apps to display commercial advertisements, while others make sure that the apps function properly or even restore them when they get uninstalled. From this, we can see how important it is to remove RelaySys from the affected computer. Getting rid of the adware helper will ensure the successful adware program removal as well.

We have seen similar adware helpers before. Our research shows that RelaySys is basically identical to Microengine and AppendRunner adware helpers, both of which are employed by the Multiplug adware apps that are based on the JustPlugIt engine. RelaySys often creates fake uninstaller entries that are visible in the program list in Control Panel. Clicking any of the uninstallers would actually INSTALL the affiliated adware program again, and that is exceptionally annoying, especially if you have just removed the obnoxious program that has been showing multiple pop-up ads. You need to avoid clicking uninstallers called GrubTartan, StatEngine, DemiUpgrader, FalconCentre, and so on. If you are not sure where the entry in Control Panel has come from, you should consider investing in a legitimate antispyware application that will help you figure things out.

It is important that you get rid of RelaySys and all the related adware applications because adware apps can inadvertently expose you to corrupted websites that are part of malware distribution network. Consequently, you might get infected with malware even if this is not the reason adware applications are spread around the web.

The point is that you should uninstall RelaySys right now. Run a full system scan with a computer security tool to determine what other programs must be removed from your computer. After manual removal, do not hesitate to acquire a legitimate computer security application, as your system’s security should be your utmost priority.
