PopDealsPopDeals is an adware application that is based on JustPlugIt engine. It gets installed on your computer when you download freeware applications from third-party file sharing websites. PopDeals does not have a direct download link, so quite often users are not aware that they have this application on their computers until it starts displaying commercial advertisements. It is in your best interests to remove PopDeals from the system, as this adware application is not reliable, and malevolent third parties could exploit it to display and promote corrupted content related to malware distribution. PopDeals will also add extensions to Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer web browsers. According to our research, the newest Google Chrome versions should block PopDeals extension, but it does not mean that the application disappears – its files remain on your system. When the application is up and running; it starts to tracking your web browsing history. Later on, PopDeals makes use of the collected data to generate commercial advertisements on eBay, Amazon, BestBuy and other commercial websites. The problem is that PopDeals outsource ad content from third-party advertising networks, so most of the ads cannot be even trusted. As far as we know, PopDeals could be exploited by malicious third-party to display its content.
