Qwest Toolbar

Qwest Toolbar is a browser extension created by Conduit Ltd. The application is primarily promoted at qwest.ourtoolbar.com; however, it may be presented by other publishers. If you have not downloaded the toolbar onto the browsers yourself, there is a possibility that it has been installed illegally. Even though this is unlikely, in this case, you should delete the program without any hesitations. Needless to say, we can help you remove Qwest Toolbar even if you have installed it yourself.

If you keep track of potential threats, you may be familiar with the name of Conduit already. This company is known for SearchMe Toolbar, All My Web Toolbar, Scenic Reflections Toolbar, and other suspicious browser plugins. Some of these are installed bundled with other software, like TuneUp Utilities. If you have noticed that undesirable software was installed, you can follow the manual removal instructions below to delete them. Another thing that these toolbars have in common is the Trovi Search. If you accept the installation of this search tool, trovi.com will replace your regular home page.

Trovi Search is not the most reliable search provider. It does present search results; however, some of them may be sponsored. What is most disturbing is that the search provider displays banner ads which link to potentially unreliable websites and which promote highly questionable services. We strongly recommend you refrain from clicking on any sponsored links and advertisements linked to Qwest Toolbar. In fact, you should delete Qwest Toolbar exactly because the tool spies on you and displays unreliable offers. These cannot be removed if you choose to run the toolbar.

Even though Qwest Toolbar is not a browser hijacker, the processes of this application are quite suspicious. If you do not delete the application, it can install web cookies to record your browsing habits and collect non-personally identifiable information. What is more, the information collected by Qwest Toolbar may be accessed by third-party advertisers. There is no information about the affiliated parties, which is why we do not recommend taking any risks. You should remove Qwest Toolbar instead.

Qwest Toolbar removal can be performed in two different ways. If you know what you are doing, you can use the manual removal instructions presented below. If you do not know how to locate and delete all components related to the suspicious application – install automatic malware removal software.
