Perk Prize Panel

Perk Prize Panel in an advertisement supported program which we recommend removing from the operating system as soon as possible. Some computer users believe that this application is beneficial because on perk.com it is stated that it can help you earn points when shopping online. It is stated that these points can be exchanged to gift cards and rewards, and this is the main reason why many do not even think about getting it deleted. Unfortunately, the program is often trusted even by those computer users who have not authorized the activity of the suspicious application. Please continue reading and you will find out exactly why you should remove Perk Prize Panel.

As you may have discovered already, Perk Prize Panel does not have an official download source. Of course, the program is still active because its developers allow its distribution alongside other software. Bundled installers are extremely dangerous because they can be used by cyber criminals to spread malware as well. As our malware researchers have discovered, the application could travel packaged with Media Player Pro setup promoted at secure.oi-installer2.com. Of course, other installers could be used as well. It is most important to understand that sometimes bundled applications are installed silently. In fact, Perk Prize Panel could be installed without any notification as well.

As it is indicated in the Privacy Policy which you can find on perk.com, Perk Prize Panel is meant to show supposedly relevant coupons and present earning opportunities. It is also indicated that if the program was presented by third parties, separate privacy policies could apply. Here is an excerpt:

In the case you are accessing Perk services through a 3rd party application, you are bound to the terms of the 3rd party agreement and hold 3rd party fully liable for any claims.

Whether you notice Ads by PerformerSoft and other advertisement supported programs, you should pay absolutely no attention to the products and services promoted. Unfortunately, sometimes online advertisements are misleading and can be used to open up security backdoors which virtual schemers could use to their own advantage. Online ads could be displayed on search.conduit.com as well. This is the unreliable search provider which may be used to hijack the home page of your Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome browsers.

You should delete Perk Prize Panel because this is an unreliable advertisement supported program which may be installed silently and which may be linked to a suspicious browser hijacker. The program promises you to save money when shopping online; however, you should not use the service just because the displayed ads are likely to be managed by unreliable parties. Your instructions to remove Perk Prize Panel are appreciated but, unfortunately, did not work in my computer. When I follow the instructions and get to the "Manage add-on" page, Perk is under the "Not Available" header and 'enabled' is not highlighted and cannot be changed. Any additional direction would be appreciated.

If you load your C:/ on your computer and do a search for the pp.dll file, I have windows 7 and found this in:

    C:/Program Files (x86)\Perk Prize Panel

I right-clicked the file name and sent to the recycle bin, then opened the bin and deleted. I couldn't disable and the program was not found in the uninstall, but now if the .dll file is gone, it wont be able to run.

I deleted from Chrome as per your 11-step instructions, but could not manually remove Perk Prize Panel. Not from uninstall program, and while it's shown on x86 (Windows 7), it would not allow me to do anything "because the folder or a file in it is open in another program". There wasn't any open folder or file for me to close.

    What should I do?

Sorry about the same post that appeared 4 times. The security code kept asking me to enter them and I kept doing so, so it must have been that reason.
