PC HealthBoostPC HealthBoost is a system optimizer which is supposed to speed up your computer and ensure that it is running smoothly at all times. We categorize the application as a PUP or potentially unwanted program because it can travel bundled with other software. What is more, even if you install the program from the official website pchealthboost.com, it automatically installs MyPCBackup. As you may know already, this is yet another potentially unwanted program which you may want to remove from the computer. All in all, even though these programs are not critically malicious, you should not feel obliged to run them if it is not what you want. Please continue reading to learn how to delete PC HealthBoost from the PC. The suspicious system optimizer has been developed by Boost Software Inc., and it works similarly to SpeedUpMyComputer, PC Performer or PC Health Kit. Even though the application promises you to remove annoying error messages, fix dll/exe problems, speed up the startup, perform regular scans and updates, you have to be cautious with the tool. It appears that it can use the scanner to report both serious and completely irrelevant issues. Needless to say, if you install the program and let it scan the computer, you will be introduced to an intimidating flashing notification indicating:
Just below this intimidating alert you will find the Continue button, and if you click it you will be routed to a registration page. If you enter the email address, the postal code and click the registration button you will get rerouted to a new page where you will be asked to pay $39.97 for the full-version of PC HealthBoost. Needless to say, if you decide not to purchase the tool, Boost Software will still know your email and home address, which may allow them to flood you with spam. Therefore, we recommend that you do not register for this suspicious program. There are plenty of other, more reliable tools which do not come bundled with undesirable software and which can enhance the running of your computer much better. Therefore, we recommend that you delete PC HealthBoost. We recommend installing automatic malware detection and removal software to guard the computer because virtual security risks are the most detrimental. If you do not install reliable security software now, soon enough a truly malicious PC infection could corrupt your operating system. Remove PC HealthBoost and MyPCBackupRemove from Windows XP:

i've done all that but can't get rid of it.
Health Boost fixed and issue with files not exiting the outbox and then resending over and over. I did not have to pay for the first fix only if I wanted to go beyond to fix other issues. The first run of the free version fixed what was wrong. Not sure it is as bad as they say.
I have tried the above listed steps, in fact it was what I initially tried, but all that does is install it again....
How do I get rid of it??
I cannot remove Health Boost. I am running Windows 2003.
When hitting remove option in Add and Remove program, it tells me it can not do that, START SET UP, because it is running. I can not find way to disable or stop HB from running so can remove.

Unfortunately I might ind myself in same boat if downloaded. Sorry.
