MediaGet Toolbar

The latest news about movies, weather forecasts, a link to an online gaming website, and coupons are the features of MediaGet Toolbar, a browser add-on which can alter the settings of the browsers. MediaGet Toolbar is available at ourtoolbar.com; moreover, it can be bundled with freeware or shareware downloaded from cnet.com, brothersoft.com, and Softonic.com. Computer users complain about this browser plug-in as they think that it hijacks their browsers. The truth is that very often they accidentally agree with the terms of use they are provided with, which results in the changes of the home page and search provider.

It is advisable to remove MediaGet Toolbar as the home page is changed to search.conduit.com, while the search provider is replaced with Media Get Customized Web Search. The changes can be made in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari, depending on the internet browsers you use.

Once the changes are made, you are forced to use search.conduit.com, which displays various advertisements on the startup page and among the search results. Ignore the advertisements, be they display ads or sponsored links, and remove MediaGet Toolbar.

Note that when you manually uninstall the toolbar, the settings of the browsers are not changed. In order to restore the former settings, you will have to reset the browsers. The instructions on how to reset Internet Explorer and other browsing tools are presented below.

But are you sure you only want to remove MediaGet Toolbar? It is essential to protect the PC against various infections and potentially unwanted programs.
