Adware.VDownloaderEven though Adware.VDownloader initially is a video downloader and converter, this tool can download a variety of unwanted programs onto your personal computer as well. As research shows, the application published by Vitzo Limited can install AVG SafeGuard toolbar onto all of your browsers, change the Home Page to mysearch.avg.com (powered through Yahoo) and drop TuneUp Utilities 2013 all at once. Even though these modifications can be refused if you pay close attention to the installation process, most Windows users are likely to be surprised by the seemingly unauthorized changes. Therefore, even though the application itself is not malicious, you should treat it as adware which may expose you to a variety of third party products. Do you want to remove Adware.VDownloader and delete all of the programs related to it? Then continue reading to find out how. Have you downloaded Adware.VDownloader from vdownloader.com? This is one of the ways for Vitzo to distribute their program, as this application may be bundled with freeware as well. Once you install it onto the computer, it activates various files, like coaccountserver.exe (%SystemDrive%). Some of these files, in particular HIMYM.dll, are considered malicious. Various security tools detect this dynamic link library file as an information stealer, which is why you may want to delete it from the computer. Another disconcerting file is skype.dat (%SystemDrive%). In many cases this suspicious component is related to such infamous ransomware viruses as Arestocrat Virus and United States Courts Virus. And what about VDownloader.exe which is found under %PROGRAMFILES%? It has been discovered that sometimes this executable can hijack system processes, connect the PC to remote servers and even circumvent the detection of existing security software. Even though it is stated that VDownloader is free of charge, you are offered to upgrade to its full version VDownloader Plus, which costs between $29 and $39. Without this upgrade you will not be able to convert videos in some formats, download in high quality or do all of it speedily. Of course, we do not recommend that you pay money for a tool which was offered to you free-of-charge in the first place. In fact, you should not trust the application because of some of the Privacy Policy statements as well:
