Montiera ToolbarsMontiera Toolbars are browser add-ons which are adjusted by Montiera. The affiliates of Montera are Funmoods, Babylon, and Softonic applications. In the case of the latter, Montiera’s technologies allow Softonic to use one installer for a large number of toolbars. Moreover, with the help of this company, Softonic installer enables its owners to track the user’s browsing sessions and save money. Montiera Toolbars are aimed at helping publishers to raise revenue by using the toolbars. All the toolbars associated with Montiera can be installed alongside freeware, which means that it is crucial to read the information provided in the installation wizards. If you do not uncheck particular check boxes, your home page and search engine can be changed to, for example, search.babylon.com, search.funmoods.com, and so on, depending on the toolbar you have installed. We recommend that the users remove Montiera Toolbars as after the changes of the browsers are made, very often the users are provided with display ads and sponsored links. Sponsored links, also known as sponsored results, are paid advertisements which are expected to drive more traffic to the websites. If the search query matches the keywords related to the website, a relevant link may be displayed. Note that you may also come across insecure websites, which is why we advise you against clicking sponsored links. Moreover, Montiera supports the most popular browser, including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. In order monitor your browsing habits, a browser helper object (BHO) is installed onto Internet Explorer. The information that a Montiera Toolbar collects can be used for advertising, and if you read the privacy policy of each of the toolbar, you will find that very often the toolbar are said to collect information in order to understand how users browse the Internet and improve the quality of the service. If you do not want to use an unknown search engine and find various advertisements offering to scan the PC or take part in a survey, the removal of the unwanted toolbar is the only option you have. We advise using SpyHunter so that you do not have to remove the toolbar manually. Another advantage of our recommended software is that it can safeguard the system against various unwanted applications and computer infections. However, if you want to remove Montera Toolbar manually, follow our removal guide. Montiera Toolbars RemovalWindows Vista and Windows 7

I did not find Montiera in Programs and Functions within the Control Panel. Next, I went to restore IE Default settings. What occurred next was an MS invitation to Install IE 10. OK, we'll see what happens. It's installed. So far, I'm not getting the Script Errors that I think are created by the Montiera Toolbar buried in the previous IE9. Typing an email reply, my cursor is jumping around. If it persists, I'll have to research the Internet to explore the cause of that.
