Trojan.Ransomlock!gen4 is yet another version of Trojan.Ransomlock that denies access to the desktop and holds the system hostage, urging the user to pay money for unblocking the Windows. The size of the infection is 109.568 bytes and it can affect Windows 98, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Me and other operating systems. This Trojan is also known as Trojan:W32/Agent.AF, and it seems to have originated in Russia, because once activated Trojan.Ransomlock!gen4 displays the ransom message in Russian:
