Association Canadienne des Policiers virus

Ransomware infections are on the rise, and more different forms are being sighted nearly every single day. Association Canadienne des Policiers virus is a new threat to those using operating Windows systems in Canada. Schemers are well aware that it is much more profitable to target particular geographical locations; therefore, you will notice the CPA/ACP logo and the Canadian flag attached to the virus’ screen notification. The text presented in this alert is completely fictional and its only purpose is to convince you that the Canadian Police have carried out investigations regarding your virtual activity. You will not be able to remove the screen-size alert or access your desktop until you delete Association Canadienne des Policiers virus. Before we start explaining how this infection works and what you can do to have it removed, you should look again at the ridiculous warning, supposedly sent by the CPA:

Canadian Police Association
Association canadienne de policiers
Your computer is locked!
This could be due to one of the following reasons:
1. Your computer has been used to view banned Web sites
2. Your computer has been used to view Web sites containing child pornography.
3. Your computer has been used to illegal information, software.
4. Your computer has been used for storing / viewing pirated content.

It is clear that the notification is fictitious because it is extremely vague and does not present the exact crimes you supposedly have executed. Another way to recognize that the entire system’s lock-down is a scam is taking your time to research such infections as the PCeU virus, Nederlands Politie virus, GVU virus or Office Central de Lutte contre la Criminalité virus. These infections are targeted at different countries but are presented with the same interfaces and identical texts. This does not mean that cyber security is gaining momentum all over the world, and there is little chance that different national agencies would lock computers using the same visual representations. As a matter of fact, no respectable governmental agency would lock down your computer and order you to pay as much as 100 Canadian dollars without giving a reasonable explanation.

Falsely presented fines have been attached to a number of different Ukash viruses, and you need to understand that if you pay the money – your computer will remain locked and your money will be gone. Having your PC unlocked and Office Central de Lutte contre la Criminalité virus removed is something you need to do right away, and if you follow the produced instructions, your Windows system will be cleaned and protected in no time.
