Once the user closes this alert he will find himself faced with another pop up generated by Win Scan which states it will now attempt to fix the hard drive:

Should the user fall for this scam and press the START button Win Scan will pretend to scan the PC and report with the following fake security message that there is something wrong with system:

Take note of all the spelling and grammatical mistakes in Win Scan’s falsely generated warnings. This should already alert you as to the legitimacy of these supposed security warnings.
