This type of infection is spread via malware that is installed on your PC. The malware that distributes this infection pretends to be legitimate software video codecs which are required to have the user view videos online. Instead of doing what it says and fulfilling its purpose, it will install rogues such as Antivirus Studio 2010 on the victim’s PC.
