Privacy Center

Privacy Center is a fake security program or a rogue antispyware application. It is known to have connections with another rogue Privacy Components, so it can be said that Privacy Center is a clone of the former and both of them have been developed by the same group of cyber criminals. The fact that it comes from the same nest as Privacy Components means that Privacy Center uses the same methods to achieve its main purpose.

Rogue like Privacy Center are created to enter the system without the user’s knowledge or consent. Sometimes it is delivered via browser hijackers or a Trojan infection which resides in the system already. Once Privacy Center entrenches in the affected computer, it starts sending a number of fake security messages, saying that the user’s computer has been infected with random threats. Needless to say, however, that Privacy Center is a worthless program and all it wants is your money and your money only. If you have this program in your computer, you must remove Privacy Center immediately, because it will continue to slow down your computer’s performance until you pour your money into this scam. But even then Privacy Center would remain in your system, lurking and waiting for another opportunity to attack. So you must keep your credit card to yourself, and destroy the rogue instead.
