IESecurity

IESecurity (IE-Security) is a new misleading software that pretends to be a computer security solution but is in fact a counterfeit utility trying to get you to take money out of your wallet. IESecurity contamination can take place through some infectious websites that are programmed to generate fake pop-ups when you visit them, or it may come bundled with corrupt video codecs. Clicking on pop-ups like this will trigger an online system scanner that `detects` a variety of threats you are supposed to have in your system.

These fictitious security alerts claim your computer system is infected with malware and these security risks need to be handled in the shortest terms. The tool that will be promoted by these malicious tactics is IESecurity, which is marketed as a system protection utility. While operating in your system, IESecurity will keep deceiving you, often labeling your legitimate files as corrupt ones, thus encouraging you to get rid of them.

Removing these critical system files will worsen your system performance and may lead to its disruption in the long run. The basic goal of IESecurity is to trick you into purchasing its `commercial` software by making you believe that your machine has malicious activity going on. Remove IESecurity and any affiliated malware as soon as possible.
