CrossBrowserCrossBrowser is a browser add-on which makes some unauthorized changes on your desktop. The browser removes the quick launch and desktop shortcuts of Google Chrome and replaces them with its shortcut. Moreover, the CrossBrowser Internet browser is set as the default browser. The CrossBrowser program also creates additional shortcuts to websites such as Amazon.com, Facebook.com, and Wikipedia.com, so that you can enhance your online experience. However, a lot of computer users find these characteristics unappealing and want to remove CrossBrowser from the computer. We also recommend that you remove CrossBrowser, which is identical to another Internet browser named BoBrowser, which is developed by CLARALABSOFTWARE. This browser is promoted at bobrowser.com; however, in the case of CrossBrowser, no official website has been found. That implies that the CrossBrowser program gets access onto a computer through other programs; i.e., bundled with media players, browser add-ons, and many other free programs. For example, it has been found that the CrossBrowser program is bundled with programs such as Desktop Dock, VuuPC, WordProser, and some other free applications that can be removed from the computer by certain security tools. Both BoBrowser and CrossBrowser are based on the Chromium platform, which was used to create Google Chrome. The two potentially unwanted programs look like the Google Chrome browser, which confuses computer users, and they may not notice the changes made. Another reason why you should not wait but remove CrossBrowser from the computer is the fact that the browser shows advertisements on mainly commercial websites. Those ads are labeled “brought by CrossBrowser” and are of different types, including web banners and pop-ups. Moreover, a JollyWall bar inviting you to open a JollyWallet account is displayed. JollyWallet is a service enabling you to regain a certain amount of money after purchasing items on shopping websites. We advise you against relying on such services and encourage you remove CrossBrowser from the PC. Below you will find our step-by-step instructions that should help you uninstall CrossBrowser, but we recommend that you remove this potentially unwanted program using a reputable security program. Our team suggests using SpyHunter, because this program removes BoBrowser and can easily eliminate CrossBrowser and many other programs, including Trojan horses, adware, browser hijackers, fake anti-virus programs, etc. After removing CrossBrowser from the PC, you can easily restore your shortcuts by copying the Google Chrome shortcut from the Start menu and pasting it on your desktop. I have exactly the same problem as Alex. I have tried & tried & it's now doing my head in! What can be done to remove this damn thing?
You have to control alt delete. Click on task manager. Go to process tab click on anything that says cross browse. I had 3. Click on it and hit end process. Once that done you can uninstall
Worked for me. Thank you
Thanks D Sullivan. That worked!
Thanks D Sullivan! Worked like a charm!
Many thanks, it eventually worked and got rid of that ****!
SpyHunter takes quite a while to scan (as most) then at the end the option to 'cleanse' does not appear (Contrary to You Tube) but a request to purchase the same before delivery!
Sullivan is a ***** genius. Saved my life
oh thank Sulli for that!! Bloody things been installing far too much ***** on my laptop!!
CrossBrowser will NOT delete! What now???
Windows 8
Won't let me uninstall. Says I need to close all browsers but I don't have anything opened !!
Hit the Control-Alt-Delete keys at the same time; chose start Task Manager; highlight anything that has Crossbrowse in the description and in the lower right corner, hit end process. I had to hit three different processes. Then, I could remove the program.
thank u D sullivan.I had the same problem as Alex and Paul. But ur idea worked brilliantly.once again thanks for your idea.
The Task Manager route worked like a charmed.
I was trying to download a manual for my ten man tent and got more than I bargain for.
Unbeknownst to me a bundle of 10 installment cane through including Crossbrowse.
It was difficult troublesome but you saved the day.
I owe you a debt of gratitude.
I still cannot remove it. There is nothing running in my task manager yet it still tells me to close all browsers.
this is not free?jim
No its not free, its crap
After reading advice on here, I used task manager and by accident, went to the section called processes and yippe do dah, saw crossbrowser and managed to deleted it. Tried for two days to uninstall it normally and couldn't and, although I still have a few residual problems, I was actually ready to dump the laptop... try processes on task manager as it might work better.
For windows 8, you need to go to task Manager and end the task... then go to control panel and uninstall it.
Thank you so much for the advice. I did remove it from my laptop after almost a week of nightmares :)Task manager worked for me!
Thanks a lot for the help.

I've been trying for days. Says cross browser is opened, but it does not show up on task manager. I have no option to click on process. There is no "process" to click on. I simply cannot remove this program and I want it gone.
Same as alex. Mine says I need to close all of their broswers, but the fact is I DONT HAVE ANY STUPID CROSSBROWSERS OPEN!!! What should I do now?
Same here, no browsers open, and now my task manager has been disabled.

I have tried going to the process tab of the task manager and deleting the 3 crossbrowser programs from there, but the 3rd one refuses to go away, preventing me from uninstalling. Someone help.
uninstalled it successfully but it came back///
Hey for all of you that cannot uninstall this program...
You have to go into the task manager as others above have said already. But instead of finding and deleting 'crossbrowse', you should find something that appears to be abnormal, e.g., 67938-6564... something like that, and it is usually at the top of the process tab in task manager. Just end that process and uninstall crossbrowse normally. I couldn't uninstall it for days until I eventually did this. Hope this helps you.
Many thanks D Sullivan, your valuable advice make our day easier.

Every time I press "uninstall", the little loading symbol pops up next to the mouse pointer then disappears and nothing happens. I've been able to uninstall it I'm the past but now I can't.
