NewPlayer

NewPlayer is a potentially undesirable program which is not difficult to remove if you do not wish to keep it running on the operating system. The creator of the application is TUGUU SL and most install it from newvideoplayer.com. The program is meant to help you create playlists of video and audio files found on the Internet or your personal computer. Since the application supports various file formats, including mp4, flv and vob, there is no question why computer users choose to install it onto their PCs. Despite this, some of them decide to remove NewPlayer as soon as the installation is complete.

Computer users are confused by NewPlayer when they discover that the application comes bundled with various third-party programs, including Optimizer Pro, Feven, MyPcBackup, SearchProtect or Severe Weather Alerts. Some of these are considered to be advertisement supported software, and virtual security experts do not recommend trusting them without caution. Luckily, the programs affiliated to the player are not installed silently. In fact, you can accept or decline them during the installation of the media player, and all you have to do is pay attention to the presented information.

As it is stated in the NewPlayer Privacy Policy, the installer of the application may offer you toolbars, browser complements, game applications, anti-virus applications and other software that is meant to interest you. Needless to say, these programs have been developed by third parties and so you should not think that they will use the same privacy policies as the NewPlayer. Have you already installed some unfamiliar programs which were introduced to you during the installation of the application? In this case you should research these programs and delete them if this is recommended by malware researchers.

In order to eliminate virtual security threats, you should keep authentic security software installed onto the operating system at all times. Note that even though NewPlayer comes bundled with different applications, they are introduced to you. Unreliable software often bundles unreliable, even malicious programs secretly, and this is something you could face without even realizing it. Of course, you do not need to delete NewPlayer for this particular reason; however, you still may want to remove undesirable applications which may have come bundled with the program. Use the manual removal guides below and all unwanted applications will be deleted in no time. These will help you delete NewPlayer as well.
