Video Scavenger Toolbar

Video Scavenger Toolbar is a browser plugin presented by Mindspark Interactive Network. Even though the application has been created for Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers, you can install it onto Google Chrome as well. Even though this is a possibility, it does not mean that we recommend the installation of this program. In fact, if you decide to acquire the extension, you need to be extra cautious about the additionally offered search tools and the provided services. If you have already downloaded the toolbar from videoscavenger.com, it is possible that the search tools of your browsers have already been modified without you even realizing it. Do you want to delete Video Scavenger Toolbar related search tools? Continue reading to learn how.

Mindspark Interactive Network has developed such browser plugins as Bringmesports Toolbar and SoccerInferno Toolbar. Just like Video Scavenger Toolbar, these plugins are installed together with Ask Web Search tools. Note that these search tools are optional, and even though they can be installed onto the PC automatically, you can decline them during the installation. Due to this we categorize the Video Scavenger Toolbar as a browser plugin rather than a browser hijacker. Needless to say, if you do not pay attention during the installation of the Mindspark application, you might be uncomfortable with the new home page home.tb.ask.com. This is not a search tool we recommend using.

When you install Video Scavenger Toolbar onto the Internet Explorer, you can discover three different plugins – VideoScavenger, Toolbar BHO and Search Assistant BHO. As you may know already, BHO stands for the browser helper object, a special tool which can be used to gather information about your browsing activity. The collected information is meant to enhance the presented services, including Videos, Movie Reviews, Music Videos, Entertainment and More Videos. It has been discovered that some of these easy-access links can route you to websites representing obnoxious, unreliable online advertisements. Therefore, we do not recommend using the toolbar altogether.
