If you do not want your web browsers to be flooded with various in-text and pop-up advertisements, we strongly recommend that you remove Websteroids from the PC. As recent research has revealed, when downloading the plugin from its official download page, it is possible to acquire more than you have bargained for. In order to prevent potentially undesirable programs from entering your personal computer you need to be extremely cautious with packaged software. Legal software distributors always inform you about any additional applications which may be installed. Of course, if these are installed without your consent or without being represented – you cannot trust the distributor. Note that depending on the source you download the application from you could end up installing malware without even realizing it. All this advice is crap. You cannot uintall it, it actually shuts down my Internet and sends and error report. I cannot delete the file when I search. It says it is in use. This is criminal in my opinion.
It is a bunch of BS that someone can create something like this and bare no responcibilty for it's destructiveness

You will need to go to C:\Program Files(x86)\ OR C:\Program Data\ and then change the name of the websteroids folder (to something like abcwebsteroids) then go to your windows task manager (ctrl+shift+esc)and end all websteroids processes then go back to the folder and delete the renamed folder.
