Solid SavingsAt first sight Solid Savings might seem like a rather useful browser extension that helps you to save on your online purchases. This browser plugin is developed by 215 Apps just like SpecialSavings, InstantSavingsApp, Savings Vault and many others. Solid Savings provides you with an add-on that displays coupon deals when you access a list of online stores. The official website of this extension at solid-savings.com says that it includes over a 1000 online stores in its list, including Expedia, kmart, OfficeDEPOT, Petsmart, Toys R Us, Zales and others. Not only does Solid Savings display coupon deals, it also provides you with various ads on sales, and events that are supposed to help you save your money. The question is, however, whether Solid Savings is as useful as it claims to be. Although the application does not take a significant amount of resources either on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, we cannot rule out the possibility that Solid Savings may be exploited by a third party. Generally, the extension has to be downloaded at solid-savings.com and users install the plugin themselves. However, quite often Solid Savings are downloaded bundled with other freeware from third party websites. You might be downloading a free software application and simply get Solid Savings as a bonus. Although your main intention does not including installing this plugin onto your PC, still Solid Savings DOES NOT enter the system behind your back, you have to initiate the installation yourself. Possible exploitation by a third party is dangerous, because Solid Savings does not review all the links and deals provided. Therefore, a malevolent third party could easily include links to corrupted websites into these ads, making Solid Savings indirectly responsible for possible malware infection. Luckily, you can remove Solid Savings from PC on your own. It is rather easy. However, if you find that the add-on is still on your browser, follow the instructions below to delete the plugin from the browser as well. How to remove Solid Savings from PCDelete from Windows 8

O great! So suggest us to use another scam program (spyhunter)to deal with the first one. Good thing I read it before downloading it. It doesnt remove anything unless you pay. Not to mention...NONE of the suggestions worked. It wont allow you to remove it.
Spyhunter is not spyware, and if after purchase you have problems removing ANY infection, Support will create a special fix for FREE.
Can't access much on this new computer, very slow!
I got Solid Savings too in my computer and when I first saw the weird and threatning ads and pop ups in my homepage, I got really annoyed and somewhat "MAD".
The ads and pop ups from Solid Savings almost entirely covered my homepage so it was really difficult to click on button that I wanted to click originally, so I got really annoyed. Then few days later, luckily, I finally solved how to get rid of that f***ing ads and programs about few days ago.
Yooki,
Great response. Thanks for your comment.
Problem isn`t un installing the program iys the browser not allowing one to delete it or remove iy as add on in browser option doesnt apply to it or its add on bs tool bar.. internet explorer 10 win 8
shaun,
but you disabled it?
I can neither delete or disable this app. I have several emails with their "help desk" but they only respond that I need to figure out which free download I approved and delete it. if I cant figure out which one, I should disable all add ons on all products and delete all browsers then add them back in one at a time to find the culprit. Then I will know which one to permanently delete.
The program wasn't listed in my programs. I went to Google Chrome "settings", then "extensions" & disabled it, then deleted it. That got rid of it for the time being until I go into the computer to make sure all traces are gone. :)
