When looking for legitimate security software to protect your PC against threats and spyware and virus infections, ShieldSoldier should not even be considered. This rogue security tool is nothing more than a horrible scam out to trick consumers into wasting their money.

ShieldSoldier is in fact malware which share the same GUI (Graphical User Interfaces) as other rogues, only differing in name. ShieldSoldier is quite often distributed along with other harmful software called RegistryClever. Both these cyber scams will emulate legitimate security tools, and will start spamming the user with unsolicited security scans.

These scans are false, and should not be trusted. It is, in fact, only the beginning of ShieldSoldier’s attack on the system, which it aims to hopefully end with a successful sale of its worthless software. Once this “scan” finishes, ShieldSoldier will inform the PC owner that his system is compromised by various serious infections. It will further go on to inform the user that the ShieldSoldier security application is the only software capable of healing these infections.

This is where most inexperienced users become panicked and alarmed, almost ready to hand over their sensitive payment information to unknown cyber criminals. As a further attack in an effort to bring their point home, ShieldSoldier might redirect users’ browsers to various illicit websites touting its security applications, and even block the browser for any other web browsing. System instability and erratic malfunction, combined with slow performance is enough to convince some users that their PCs are truly infected, and that ShieldSoldier is the only remedy.

Never trust any correspondence received from ShieldSoldier as it is all suspect. Delete ShieldSoldier from any infected PC. By delaying the removal of ShieldSoldier, you are further exposing the system to serious security breaches. Only make use of legitimate antispyware to permanently get rid of.
